STEP 2 weigh the bone in or boneless muscle meat and insert the weight into the recipe calculator. This calculator will tell you exactly how much of each ingredient you need.

Note 👇🏻

Wash eggs before separating the yolks from the whites. Only use fresh eggs, best is closest to production date. Eggs should not be more than one week old. To check if an egg is bad, place it in a glass of water. If it floats, it has gone bad.

A 5 L mixing bowl can hold a maximum of approximately 2.5 kg of meat along with the organ and supplement mixture. To prevent overflow and ensure thorough mixing, prepare the recipe in batches of no more than 2.5 kg at a time.

The liver should always be blended, ground, or finely chopped. This helps distribute it evenly throughout the recipe and prevents your cat from consuming too much liver in a single meal.

If you dont want to grind the hearts

If you prefer a chunkier texture, you can leave the hearts whole or chop them into smaller pieces instead of blending them. Evenly divide the hearts amongst the number of days you know your batch will make (left picture) or add the hearts to the mixture and when packaging make sure each days worth of food has max 3 hearts (right picture). Cats can eat up to 3 hearts a day.
